Is it just me or has the world been talking about money a lot lately? Like more than usual. Maybe it has to do with it being the end of the month and I feel like I haven’t stopped spending money (mostly on necessary things) since my pay dropped into my account. [sarcasm font] Because, you know, I’m just rolling in the cash.[/sarcasm font]
There has also been a lot of discussion on the South African Bloggers group about making money off of blogging and how to monetise different aspects of running a blog. It’s interesting and if you’re looking to earn some extra cash then you should take a look.
All in all, money tires me. It’s great to have around and I enjoy having money around because money buys fun things like books and pizza.
On the whole though, money is annoying. It’s quite possibly the worst thing about becoming an adult. Savings, debt, making good or bad choices. Unfortunately I tend to make mostly bad choices which leads to paying off those bad choices which leads to working really hard and having very little to show for it at the end of the month.
I know I probably sound ungrateful but really I’m just blowing off some steam. The joy of blogging! I really am grateful that I have a full-time job and some extra income too. I’m grateful that I’m never without food or luxuries. I just really wish I hadn’t been such an idiot with my money when I was younger. Well done, younger Robyn. You’re the worst.
Now if only there were a way to legally multiply those powerful pieces of paper…
For now, have a great weekend and make good choices!
