On the 9th of May, I joined some of the most awesome bloggers and social media lovers at this year’s #CTmeetup. I was lucky enough to attend last year’s get together too and if Cindy (from 3Kids 2Dogs 1Old House) ever decides to organise another one, I won’t miss it for the world!
Besides the awesome venue, amazing chats and lovely guest speakers, the goodie bags are the very best! The sponsors are always so generous and it makes the day that much more special when you get to go and unpack the spoils.
Instead of covering everything in the goodie bag (like many others have, find their blog posts via the #CTmeetup tag on Twitter), I’ve decided to pick my 5 favourite products and share them with you.
You also have until the 22nd of May to win your own goodie bag from Cindy over on her blog. Enter! It’s totally worth it.
Savannah Body Butter from Rain Africa
I don’t often use body butter but I can’t help it when it comes to this lovely gift from Rain Africa. It smells amazing, absorbs really quickly and we were treated to the most wonderful shoulder massages on the day. How can I not love this company?
XXXL Longlasting Matt Lipgloss from Essence Cosmetics
While I don’t often wear lipstick at all, I have been trying to step out of my comfort zone a little and try something new. This super, bright red matt lipgloss from Essence Cosmetics (easily my favourite cosmetics brand), is perfect for when I’m feeling a little bold. Plus it smells delicious and doesn’t stain my lips.
Puzzle Piece Bracelet from Romeo Foxtrot
I’m always eyeing out the beautiful bracelets and other jewellery that Romeo Foxtrot has for sale. They’re simple and sometimes a little quirky like this puzzle piece bracelet I was able to snag. It’s adorable!
Match 2 Cover Cream Concealer from Essence Cosmetics
While my make up skills are seriously lacking, even I know that a little concealer can go a long way. I had recently lost my stick concealer (also by Essence) and hadn’t yet replaced it. When I discovered this little gem in my goodie bag I was very pleased. The tones match my skin perfectly and it glides on with no cracking or caking. Thanks, Essence!
Tan in a Can from Caribbean Tan
I will admit that I was more than a little excited to find Caribbean Tan products in my bag, mainly because I had just watched a tutorial by Hayls World on how to use Caribbean Tan and I was hooked. I literally had the products in my Takealot basket waiting to be bought. Thanks to being super pale and also not enjoying the sun at all, I never rock a tan but I figured I would give Caribbean Tan a go because it looked so easy and, well, not orange. I can’t WAIT to have a lovely glow all winter long!
And that’s it! My 5 favourite products from the #CTmeetup goodie bag. If this doesn’t entice you to make sure you’re at the next event then I don’t know what will!
