On the 9th of May, I joined some of the most awesome bloggers and social media lovers at this year’s #CTmeetup. I was lucky enough to attend last year’s get together too and if Cindy (from 3Kids 2Dogs 1Old House) ever decides to organise another one, I won’t miss it for the world!
Besides the awesome venue, amazing chats and lovely guest speakers, the goodie bags are the very best! The sponsors are always so generous and it makes the day that much more special when you get to go and unpack the spoils.
A little while ago I wrote about the decisions Daniel and I had made regarding having a baby and expanding our little family. It’s a huge decision and one we haven’t made easily. We realise that our entire lives will change and we’re okay with that.
As you can see and you may have noticed (or not), I’ve been MIA for a while. I guess my brain just needed a little break. Also I wasn’t entirely happy with the last time I changed the look of my blog so you may have noticed that I changed it again. I’m still working on it but I have too little patience to work on it in secret so here it is!
In March of 2015, Daniel and I took a trip up to Durban and it was my first visit to the city. This post has been sitting in wait until now because I’m both easily distracted and lazy. Oops.
We flew up to Durban on a ridiculously early flight on the 19th of March, which also happens to be Daniel’s birthday! The reason for our visit was to go up and see Daniel’s dad and his girlfriend. Needless to say, being in different cities means that we don’t get to see them often. I was also extremely excited to see a new city that I’ve never laid eyes on before.
Neighbours. Whether they’re banging on the walls or stealing your parking spot, it’s always an adventure. I’ve shared before how living in a complex surrounded by neighbours can be… fun. But having strangers above and below you can also suck quite a bit. Like life, complex living has its ups and downs.
